About

Hi there!

We invest in ambitious climate tech startups to solve social and environmental problems, making millions of lives better.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Melyoon Ventures is an investment firm that reinforces the development and implementation of technologies aimed at mitigating environmental damage such as resource depletion and climate change.

At Melyoon Ventures, we fight with climate change through energy innovation. We invest in capital-light technologies and innovative business models that can transform the way we produce and utilize energy. Each startup we fund has the ability to diminish greenhouse gas emissions from now to 2050.

We provide post-investment support through specialized mentorship, strategic marketing plan and IP development. Our Venture Partners direct our startups with their extensive technical and operational experience that add value to our services.

We have contributed to the formation of those world-class management teams that have built long-lasting ways to utilize energy resources better, and we’ve been a part of the development of companies that have continued to transform industries.

HOW IT WORKS?

The renewable energy industry has become one of the fastest growing industries in recent years. However, the expansion of the clean and green energy sector includes technological innovations and large-scale infrastructure projects that demand large investments at every phase. This is where Melyoon Ventures comes into play. We help innovative companies decarbonized the world through investment and mentorship. We use the following criteria to evaluate organizations seeking investment from Aharas Ventures:

OUR INVESTMENT STRATEGY

Our investment strategy is based on intrinsic worth and a risk-return framework. Bottom-up intrinsic value tests are performed for each investment we make, with expected returns weighed against a risk-adjusted cost of capital. A capital asset pricing model is used to calculate the risk-adjusted cost of capital. Capital costs are higher for investments in riskier sectors or markets. To compare the relative attractiveness of investment opportunities, we use the risk-adjusted cost of capital to normalize the risks.

As owners and investors, we have complete freedom to reshape and rebalance our portfolio as opportunities or challenges arise. We primarily invest in stocks. We invest or divest in accordance with our outlook and value tests, based on our risk-return appetite.
